Mobile Diesel Mechanic in our Chicago area operation, drive to our customers breakdown or work-site locations upon being dispatched and perform emergency repairs on commercial trucks, trailers and fleet vehicles
Your responsibilities will include:
Troubleshooting and repairing all makes of vehicles on roadside and or work-site which include but is not limited to no starts, brakes, compressed air systems, tires, electrical repairs, trailer repairs, coolant lines, removing and replacing hydraulic lines. Welding experience a plus.
Experience with class semi truck maintenance and repair.
Must have all your own basic hand tools
Experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Service Tech either in a shop or doing road service.
Willing to work on call irregular hours on the roadside in all weather conditions
Possess a valid drivers license (No CDL Required)
Schedule:
Day shift and On call
Weekend availability
Work Location: On the road / our terminal shop.
